About Jared

I’m Jared, an avid traveler and photographer. For the last decade, I’ve caught and shot games at hundreds of sports venues across all 50 states and in 3 different countries. I’ve worked, written and shot for a few different organizations that have enabled me to experience games at a wide variety of venues in every sport imaginable. That’s what Stadium51 is all about – my sports and travel stories told through photos, paired with comprehensive information on gameday experiences at over 300 stadiums, ballparks & arenas across the world.

Why Stadium51?

Well, a few reasons…

• As I travel across this great nation, I get to experience the differences in our culture and ways of life. This sometimes makes me a foreigner in my own country, an outsider looking in. Kinda like aliens.
• There are 50 states … plus the District of Columbia. That equals 51. (Sure, there are plenty of Canadian venues on here and a few international ones too, but the primary focus is the United States.)
• Like Area 51 – supposedly – this site is a hub for the study of stadiums and arenas everywhere. We dissect them and analyze them, learning every fascinating detail.
