📍 Manchester, New Hampshire
⚾ Home of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats
One of several Eastern League gems, New Hampshire’s Delta Dental Stadium stands out as one of the circuit’s best ballparks. Opened in 2005 on the banks of the Merrimack River as the home of the Double-A Fisher Cats, the ballpark’s cheeky name and cool atmosphere ensure that this passionate Granite State fanbase turns up at “The Tooth” all summer long.
Located just south of downtown Manchester – the state’s largest city – Delta Dental Stadium holds around 6,500 fans, making it the biggest baseball facility in New Hampshire and fourth-largest in New England overall. Some of the ballpark’s highlights include the Samuel Adams Brewhouse in left field, housed in a red shipping container-like structure, and the Hilton Garden Inn that looms over the outfield fence. One of very few hotels in the country that can claim unobstructed baseball stadium views from its guest rooms, the HGI also has outdoor patio seating where lodgers can soak up the gameday vibes. The hotel – while technically outside the ballpark gates – is still eerily similar to the Marriott hotel located inside Rogers Centre, home of the Fisher Cats’ Major League parent, the Toronto Blue Jays.

The ballpark, despite its relatively young age, also underwent a massive renovation in 2017 that improved the concourse design and the venue’s iconography. Added to the stadium during this upgrade was a unique rock structure and a giant tooth, the latter of which is now easily the most recognizable feature in the park.
While the Fisher Cats’ concession options are nothing beyond the basics, the food stands do boast pretty cool names that play on New Hampshire’s status as the state in which the first presidential primary is held.

Delta Dental Stadium, with its strong reputation and accessible location in the Boston commuter suburbs, is fortunate to have hosted the Eastern League All-Star Game a whopping three times in just nine seasons. A structural beam with multiple panels informs fans of the history of both the ballpark and the Fisher Cats, touching on everything from their former home at historic Gill Stadium to their league titles in 2004, 2011 and 2018.
Having played in Manchester for more than twenty years now, the Fisher Cats remain one of New England’s most successful ballclubs, playing out of one of the region’s most premier venues. And like many of its Eastern League peers, the team’s hardcore community support has guaranteed that this stadium on Line Drive will likewise remain one of the lesser known icons of the minor leagues.
